Pay in 3 Interest-Free Payments

Split your purchase into three equal payments so you can spread the cost over time. By choosing PayPal Pay in 3 as your interest-free payment method when you check out with PayPal, you will pay your first instalment at the time of purchase and the remaining two instalments will be collected on the same day of the month for the next two months. Minimum £30 spend applies.

Founded in America in 1998, PayPal is one of the world’s leading payment networks, allowing consumers and retailers the opportunity to securely, conveniently and cost-effectively send and receive payments online.

PayPal Pay in 3 is an interest-free loan that lets you split your payment into 3 equal amounts. The first payment is due at the time of purchase and then every month on the same dates.

If a payment is due on a date which doesn’t exist in a month - such as the 31st February - then payment will be taken on the last day of that month.

There are no fees for choosing to pay with PayPal Pay in 3.

You can see your payment schedule or make unscheduled payments at any time by logging into your PayPal account. Just log into your PayPal account, go to PayPal Pay in 3. The amount you still owe will be under Remaining.

PayPal will also send a reminder by email or SMS 10 days before your payment is due detailing the amount of your payment, the payment due date and the funding instrument the payment will be taken from.

If needed, PayPal will run a soft credit check with an external credit reference agency. This leaves no permanent mark on a customer’s credit record if they choose not to progress. However, if a customer decides to use Pay in 3, we will report their ongoing performance to credit reference agencies as we believe this promotes responsible lending. So, it’s important that you’re able to keep up your repayments and that you’re comfortable that they’re affordable.

PayPal Pay in 3 is only available for customers over 18 living in the UK (excluding Channel Islands and Isle of Man).

PayPal may have to assess a customer’s creditworthiness and the decision-making process is automated, with PayPal assessing your financial position using a combination of the information provided in your application, and information about your usage and history with PayPal to decide whether PayPal Pay in 3 is suitable.

PayPal’s assessment will not affect your credit rating.

As soon as the merchant has accepted your cancellation/return, you can request a refund through PayPal’s platform and cancel any further payments. Any refund issued will be paid to your PayPal Balance, once any amounts owing under your Pay in 3 plan have been repaid.

Unfortunately, all orders placed online with PayPal must be returned by post. We are unable to accept these returns in store.
