How does it all work?

You can trade in your old FatFace favourites either online or in-store and get 20% off your next purchase with us. We’ll take back clothes in any condition and Reskinned will sort them by hand to make sure they find the right next steps.

What happens to the clothes you trade in?

Resell

All clothes are resold, repurposed or recycled. If they can be worn again then Reskinned will make any repairs and clean anything before it’s resold. Reskinned uses a process called ozone cleansing (a zero water cleaning process).

Anything we cannot use again will be responsibly recycled. Reskinned works with fibre to fibre partners who can enable cotton items to be respun back into yarns to make new clothes with recycled cotton. They also work with Cotton Lives On™ who turn end of life cotton clothes into something new like insulating materials or car seat fillers.

What is Reskinned?

At FatFace, we believe your clothes should be loved and lived in for years.
That’s why we’ve teamed up with Reskinned to help give your preloved pieces a new lease of life.
By working with Reskinned, we can make sure every item finds the right home and nothing ends up in landfill. It’s all about keeping things in circulation.

What happens to my clothes?

Reskinned makes sure every preloved piece gets the chance to live on. Anything still good to wear is cleaned, mended (if needed) and popped onto the Reskinned marketplace to find a new forever home.

If an item doesn’t quite meet marketplace standards, it’s passed on to Reskinned trusted partners who’ll give it another life wherever possible. And thanks to their long-standing links in textile reuse, they can rehome everything from cosy knits to summer shirts.

If a garment has truly worn itself out, Reskinned sends it for responsible recycling - never landfill. Their goal? Keep clothes in use and make sure nothing goes to waste.

How does it work? Online

1. Add the three FatFace items you want to return to your takeback basket using the easy online tool.

2. Package up your items and take to the drop off point. We don’t want any unnecessary packaging, so please re-use delivery packing from previous other orders. As long as it’s clean and strong enough to survive
the journey, that’s great.

3. Once Reskinned have received your takeback, they will verify your trade in and email you a unique, one-time use promotion code.

4. Claim your reward and shop at FatFace!

What condition do my clothes need to be in?

Reskinned accept items back in ANY condition.

What discount will I receive?

You will receive a 20% off discount code to use either online or in one of our shops. You must spend a minimum of £80 on full priced items only to redeem this code. *please refer to takeback rules here

When do I get my voucher?

If you drop off your items in one of our FatFace shops, your items will be verified there and then, and your promotion code can be used as soon as this has been completed.

If you post your items back, please allow up to 10 working days for your items to be received by Reskinned, verified and a promotion code sent to your email address.

How does it work? In store

1.Visit one of our FatFace x Reskinned stores and inform our store crew you’re here to drop off your three FatFace items.

2. You’ll be asked to go online and visit takeback.reskinned.clothing/fatface/instore to complete the takeback.

3. Once our store crew have verified your takeback and you've dropped them into our bins, you will be emailed a discount code.

4. Claim your reward and shop at FatFace or online at FatFace.com

If it has been more than 10 working days since you sent your items back, please contact takeback@reskinned.clothing. Please do not contact the team if it hasn’t been 10 working days or more.

My promotion code isn’t working, who do I speak to about this?

What happens if I return an item that I bought using my promotion code?

In line with our Terms & Conditions which are linked here, your promotion code is only redeemable once and cannot be used again. If you return items purchased using a promotion code, no further code will be provided, and your original code cannot be used again.
