One misty May morning, a couple of FatFace
designers left the south coast and headed inland to
Beeble HQ for a hands-on beekeeping experience.
Witnessing the intricate world of bees up close was
both fascinating and inspiring, filling the team with
fresh ideas for their designs.

Bee-hind the scenes

Back in the studio, creativity buzzed. The womenswear print was born from the wildflowers
surrounding Beeble HQ, with designers foraging blooms from meadows to capture their beauty.
Meanwhile, the knitwear team took inspiration from the honeycomb structures pulled from the hives,
hand-crocheting samples in rich honeyed tones to reflect the bees’ incredible craftsmanship.
