We caught up with Angie Smith to find out more about her life and style philosophy. In this Q&A, Angie gives us an insight into how she works, what inspires her and shares her styling advice for winter.

How would you describe your job?
I make stuff look the best version of itself whether that be people or brands.

How would you describe your style?
Relaxed.

What outfit always makes you feel good?
Sweatshirt, jeans, trainers.

What’s your style philosophy?
Less is more and you should never feel uncomfortable.

What is your ultimate piece of styling advice?
Find a straight talking friend make them your official style consultant.

What motivates you?
People.

Who inspires you?

How do you unwind?
Looking at the ocean, drinking a margarita, taking a bath with a good book.

Where’s your favourite travel destination?
I’ve just moved to Sydney so I’m having fun discovering that side of the world a bit more, Uluwatu in Bali is pretty special.

Best beach?
There are too many - Sennen Cove in Cornwall, Great Mackerel in Sydney, Cresmina in Portugal.

Favourite food?
Sushi.

Cats or dogs?
Both.

Winter styling

What advice would you give for choosing outfits in winter?
Invest in classic pieces that will last you more than one season.

If you were going to choose just one outfit from your FatFace edit, which would it be?
It would have to be the Fair Isle jumper and navy cord skirt - a cute jumper and skirt combination is my go-to winter outfit.

What are your thoughts on a capsule wardrobe?
An absolute necessity.
