Then join us at this year's Fat Face Night Ski on May 17th 2008 at the Chill Factore in Manchester and compete in the LAST ski event of the season, with £2,000 prize money up for grabs!
After two fantastic years running the event in the Alps, we've decided to bring the event home; back to the UK (it was originally held in Castleford in 2005).
The aim of the Fat Face Night Ski - the first in the Night Series, which also takes in surfing, mountain boarding, wakeboarding, sailing, windsurfing and mountain biking - is to get some of the best UK talent on the snow after a season of practice!!
There are 2 categories: Professional and Amateur for both skiers and boarders - male and female. Chill Factore boasts the widest indoor slope in the world and the longest in Europe and, with perfect snow conditions, the scene is set for an awesome event!
The course will mainly be Freestyle, incorporating rails and boxes with some big air opportunities thrown in as well! So, there'll be tons of chances for you to show off skills to family and friends, who won't need to travel abroad now to see your hot moves!

Official registration for the Fat Face Night Ski will kick off at 14:00hrs on the day. The cost for registration is £35 this includes time to test the course in the afternoon (from 15:00 – 19:00) before the event proper kicks off in a Jam Session format from 19:00 – 22:00. After the elimination rounds finalists will be tested to the max with the lights turned off in the finals from 22:00 – 23:30. Competitors will also have 2 drinks and 1 food voucher.
As soon as the event finishes the winners will be crowned in the official prize giving celebrations, followed by one of Fat Face's legendary parties - not to be missed and open to friends and family too – Spectator space will be limited so if you want to reserve tickets please email nightseries@fatface.com or pick them up from the Fat Face shop in the Trafford Centre in the week before the event.
Off the slope, the fantastic new centre - just off the M6 - also boasts some great restaurants and a climbing wall, as well as a slope side bar, where the after party will take place.
