It's a great lifestyle. Why be stuck in an office when you can get paid to windsurf?
How did you get into it?
Watersports holidays with my family, I gave windsurfing a go and it just clicked. I loved it from the start.
What next?
The plan is to stay at the top of my sport, get rich and famous and carry on doing what I love to do for as long as possible.
Any other sports?
I love wave sailing, golf, surfing and snowboarding
Favourite event and why?
Ooh that’s a hard one… but if I was pushed I’d have to say the Pre-Olympics because I won!!!
Favourite place in the world?
My home town, Weymouth.
Training regime?
10 hours aerobic exercise a week, 10 hours on-water training and 2 weights/core stability sessions a week. I travel to a lot of international events; there is at least one overseas regatta each month, so I tend to be away for between 10 days and two weeks a month for competitions.
What makes you good at your sport?
I’m determined, enthusiastic and aggressive on the water.
Advice to others wanting to get into the sport?
Go to your nearest windsurf centre. Try lots of different kit till you find what is right for you and choose a day where the wind is light and steady: if it’s warm and sunny, that’d be a bonus! Push yourself hard, but go at your own pace.
Married, Single, kids? Tell all!
I've got a boyfriend called Greg, who also windsurfs. He is organising the set up of a climbing centre near Dartford.
