The Fat Face crew were giving out free “Suck it and Sea” ice pops to all spectators onshore and competitors afloat. Lucky receivers took their wrappers into store for the chance to win one of the many great prizes that were up for grabs!
Fat Face Team Rider and Round the World Yachts Woman Dee Caffari also visited the Fat Face store on the Wednesday for a ‘Meet Dee’ evening. Lots of yachties turned up to chat with Dee and asked her lots of questions about her round the world yachting adventures. As Dee’s official onshore clothing sponsor Fat Face has produced some unique and very eye catching kit for Dee and her Team which was available to buy in the Cowes store so many avid supports were seen sporting their bright yellow kit on the pontoons!
Elsewhere on the water, Fat Face Team Rider Hugh Styles was competing in the Extreme 40 Ishares regatta. Hugh was helming one if these speed machines for Ishares and after several spectacular capsizes amongst the fleet, the team finished 7th overall.
Finally, the Fat Face RS 800 crew Justin Deal and Ollie Page were battling it out against over 80 boats in the Laser SB3 Class. Sailing “Hot Pants” the team are sporting the new brand new Fat Face technical range with a Cowes Week exclusive “Wetter the Better” print which was also available to buy in the Cowes store for the week.
So, it was a fun filled week and despite the lack of sunshine, everyone had a great time both on and off the water. As the saying goes it’s “Wetter the Better!”.
