Your Fat Face watch comes with a two-year guarantee, having been produced using first class materials and fully tested before leaving our Manufacturing Centre.

We’ve designed and manufactured our watches to meet the demanding requirements of an active out there lifestyle. To help keep your watch in mint condition we reckon it’s time well spent reading some simple Fat Guidelines.

Fat Time Guidelines

• Battery Replacement: Fat Face watches rely on batteries, which should last approximately 18 months. As a battery change requires special tools and expertise, your battery replacement should be done by an expert. Don’t try and do it yourself, life’s too short and you’ll invalidate the guarantee. Have any batteries replaced by our Service Centre to ensure maximum accuracy, no unexpected stops and so your watch remains Waterproof.
• Gold, silver and rhodium plated cases can be damaged by hair or body sprays. Put your watch on after spraying!
• Our Fat Face Service Centre must carry out any work required within the guarantee period, otherwise your warranty is invalid.
• Each watch contains precision mechanisms. Don’t open the watch or try to remove the case-back as this will stop it being watertight and possibly stop it from working.
• All our watches are waterproof to 100m: Water Resistant to 100m means you can get wet, get soaked wearing it - in the rain, shower, bath or whilst doing your favourite watersport (excluding scuba diving). Ensure the crown (see instructions) is fully pushed in before exposure to water and don’t mess with the crown or any buttons when you/your watch are wet.
• Water-proofing. Worn regularly in water, your watch can gradually lose its water resistance, which could prove disastrous, so don’t forget to get your watch tested and re-proofed from time to time.
• Repairs. When in daily use, your watch may be damaged or develop a fault but there’s very few repairs our experts can’t fix. Simply return the watch along with the original receipt or proof of purchase, the completed repair form (enclosed), along with your name, address, telephone no. and a brief description of the fault. Please allow 14 days for any repairs and return postage. International customers, please return your watch to your local Fat Face Store and they will arrange for it to be sent to their assigned watch experts to carry out the necessary work.

Your two year guarantee doesn't cover the following:

• Batteries, straps or bracelets.
• Damage caused from accidents or mishandling of any parts of the watch including strap buckles, bracelets and watch glasses.
• Tarnishing of the watch bracelet or case.
• The terms of this guarantee provide rights that are in addition to your statutory rights and does not affect your statutory rights as a consumer.

Recycling

We've enclosed a prepaid envelope for your Fat Face watch at the end of its lifespan to send it to a designated waste collection centre where they’ll strip your watch back to basics, recycling glass, metal and plastics so that it can have its time over again. (This is for all Fat Face Watches within the European Union (EU) for Fat Face Watches outside of the EU, please return them to your local store for recycling.)
