Your Fat Face luggage comes with a three year guarantee and is designed and manufactured to meet the demanding requirements of an active lifestyle. Allowing for reasonable wear and tear, should any fault occur during this time on your adventures Fat Face will repair or replace your luggage free of charge.
However, Fat Face are unable to take responsibility for damage due to mishandling in transit*. Should any damage occur when travelling by air we recommend that you report it to the relevant carrier before leaving the airport.
The three year guarantee covers all luggage purchased in Fat Face stores or elsewhere.
Luggage should be returned to the original place purchased with your receipt to receive your full refund or exchange.
Airlines are the most common cause of damage to luggage – Fat Face are not responsible for any damage that occurs whilst the luggage is in transit. We therefore strongly suggest that, should your piece of luggage be damaged whilst flying, you report it to the relevant airline that you have flown with before you leave the airport, to enable you to make a claim for compensation through your airline or travel operator. We suggest you give your luggage the once over when you’ve grabbed it off the carousel to check it’s all in one piece before continuing on your adventure. Signs for Airline Damage: Luggage can be damaged on the carousels and conveyers that take it around the airport to the aircraft, and also can be dropped from the hold of the aircraft onto the tarmac.

In general it is easy to spot airline damage as there will be a whole part of the item which appears to have been scuffed or scraped where the item got caught on the carousel or conveyers.
